Well, we haven't blogged in quite sometime, so we scrounged around and came up with some random interesting tid-bits...

Here is a picture of quality cultural immersion. People are a little leery about buying English Muffins. They are a not so common food here so at times one may see advertising to encourage people to buy these delicious breakfast treats.

Directions:

1) Cut the muffin into two pieces.

2) Toast the muffin.

3) Butter and eat.

4) Yum! (our addition)

Since the supermarkets depend on the buyer's demand we are constant buyers of these yummies. We wouldn't want these delicious breakfast items to disappear from the store shelves. This being said, when selecting a package we often exlcaim rather loudly, "Delicious," and various other words to let other shoppers know the truth of these great English Muffins.

Here we have a picture of a picture of us!! Surprisingly, we discovered that we were in the newpaper over a year ago (yes, it seems that bulletin boards are not often updated as in other places we know...). In this picture we are playing a traditional Japanese drum at an event we went to with a couple of our students. Being the only obvious foreigners there...........

This weekend we ventured out to watch the school cheerleaders, many of which also participate in English Club, at the Cultural Center.

Goooo TooooGijuku!!!!

Bhahahahaa! My favorite is how you loudly proclaim "Delicious!" so on-lookers will be tempted to buy them! hahahaha!
